MINDMAPS EDUCATION

At MindMaps, we believe growth starts in the mind. We all move through life using maps of the world — built from the strategies we use and the stories we believe. Change the story, shift the strategy, and the map transforms.

We don’t just react to life; we chart it. We mark out opportunities, highlight resources, trace threats, and tell ourselves stories to make sense of what we see. Over time, these stories become the landscapes we live within — shaping how we move, what we notice, and who we believe we are.

But no map is permanent. No story is final. Growth begins when you choose to change.

That’s where we come in:

- For schools, coaching programs and online courses that align all members of the school community for a cohesive future. Our programmes are developed to give schools clarity of their current landscape and ensure that a direction is established for all to align with.

- For parents, we offer tools and courses that turn everyday moments into opportunities for curiosity, connection, and growth.

- For organisations, we deliver coaching and training programmes that build resilience, unlock potential, and create lasting culture change, and bespoke corporate wellness programs - both online and in person.

With over 20 years of collected tools, strategies, and embodied practices, we help individuals, teams, and schools rewrite the stories that shape their lives — building new maps for growth, resilience, and meaningful change.

Online CPD Courses for schools

Teaching is demanding, and no two classrooms are the same. That’s why self-paced courses are a powerful fit for schools: they give teachers the freedom to learn in their own time, at their own pace, without adding pressure to the school day.

Flexible for busy schedules – Teachers can pause, rewind, and revisit material when it suits them, whether that’s during PPA, in short bursts between lessons, or during flexible working hours away from school.

Customisable pathways – With a range of courses available, schools and teachers can choose the topics that fit their specific needs, ensuring training is always relevant and meaningful.

Consistent training across the school – Everyone gets the same high-quality content, ensuring alignment without needing everyone in the same room at once.

Cost-effective for schools – One course can be rolled out to multiple staff, saving money on repeated in-person sessions.

Practical and directly applicable – Our courses are designed to link ideas with classroom practice, so teachers can try strategies straight away and build confidence step by step.

Sustainable professional growth – Learning is embedded over time, rather than crammed into a one-off day, the impact lasts longer and sticks deeper.

At MindMaps, our self-paced courses give schools a way to build a shared language, shared tools, and shared maps of learning — while letting teachers remain in charge of their own professional journey.

Frequently Asked Questions

1. How can coaching become part of everyday life in our school or company?

A true coaching culture goes beyond occasional one-to-one sessions. It creates an environment where curiosity, feedback, and growth are woven into everyday conversations.

- Empower everyone, not just a few – Coaching becomes a shared language with everyone clear on the objectives and direction that they are aligning with. That means staff, leaders, and students(in school) are all fostering continuous development rather than isolated interventions.

- Strengthen leadership at every level – Senior leaders model coaching behaviours, while teachers and managers learn to guide with questions, active listening, and constructive dialogue.

- Uncover and scale strengths – A coaching culture identifies the strategies that already work in your business or school and helps replicate them across teams, turning individual successes into collective best practice.

- Sustain long-term impact – By embedding coaching into meetings, professional development, and daily interactions, growth and innovation become part of the organisation’s DNA.

External coaches can help kick-start the process and provide objective support, but the ultimate goal is a self-sustaining culture where coaching skills are owned and lived by everyone.

2. Why offer self-paced online courses instead of traditional CPD days?

We do offer both! Whole-school INSETs can be valuable and do have their place, but they’re not always practical. Teachers are busy, and cramming learning into a single day often means nothing sticks. Our self-paced online courses give staff the freedom to learn in their own time — whether that’s in short bursts during PPA, after school, or at home. That flexibility means the training is absorbed more deeply and applied more effectively.

3. What makes MindMaps different from other providers?

We don’t just deliver training — we build communities of practice. Our courses and programmes create space for teachers to share experiences, swap strategies, and learn from each other. That professional dialogue is where the real growth happens: teachers don’t just gain new tools, they develop a stronger, more connected culture across the school.

4. What can you provide that is specific to schools?

Education faces some unique challenges: the time between research and classroom implementation is longer than in any other industry. By offering flexible, customisable courses, we give teachers the chance to learn how to apply the latest insights now — not years down the line. And because our courses connect teachers across the country who are on the same journey, they provide something that’s often missing: community.

Too often, teachers are left to sink or swim in their own classrooms. Even in supportive, multi-form schools, it’s easy to feel isolated. Our programmes bring educators together, creating dialogue, shared practice, and professional networks that strengthen both individuals and schools.

5. How can mindfulness and meditation really help teachers?

Teaching is one of the most demanding professions, and stress is often part of the job. Burnout, long-term sick leave, and even teachers leaving the profession altogether are sadly becoming too common — but they are addressable. Our CPD doesn’t just give strategies for the classroom — it helps teachers look after themselves too. Through simple mindfulness and meditation practices, staff develop resilience, focus, and calm. This isn’t about adding something extra to the day — it’s about giving teachers tools that make the day easier and keeping great teachers in the classroom.
