FocusGrid is a dual-task cognitive attention trainer. It prepares the nervous system for focused learning in under a minute — whole class or 1:1, no equipment required.
Most children arrive at lessons in a range of states — some calm and ready, others dysregulated from the playground, anxious about a test, or simply not yet mentally present. FocusGrid addresses that before the lesson starts, not after.
FocusGrid uses a dual-task cognitive model — tracking visual targets while processing a secondary task — to engage the prefrontal cortex and shift the nervous system into a focused, ready state.
A single 60-second session is sufficient to shift attention and readiness. Used at the start of a lesson, before a test, or after a disruptive transition, it resets the class without taking meaningful time from learning.
FocusGrid scales from simple number tracking for KS1 to more complex dual-task sequences for upper KS2 and beyond. Teachers adjust difficulty to suit the class or individual child.
No equipment, no installation, no account needed. Display it on a projector for whole-class use or use it on a tablet for 1:1 support. Works on any device with a browser.
FocusGrid is available as part of the full suite — all six classroom tools for one annual price.
